The County wants to hear from Lodi
The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters (SJROV) will host a Town Hall meeting in Lodi to receive feedback on the voting process and voting options in San Joaquin County and whether or not to implement the Voter's Choice Act (VCA) for the 2020 elections. The community and public at-large is invited to attend this and many other regional Town Hall discussions so SJROV can gather opinions about potential changes to voting, polling places, vote centers, and all-mail ballot elections.

Voter's Choice Act (VCA)
San Joaquin County has the option to adopt the VCA for the 2020 elections. Under the VCA, all voters would be mailed a ballot and would have the opportunity to vote in person at vote centers throughout the county. Traditional polling places would be eliminated.
No decisions about the VCA have been made for San Joaquin County at this time. At the Town Halls, SJROV wants to hear the public's thoughts on current voting access and potential changes. There are several opportunities to attend a Town Hall meeting, and additional Town Halls may be added as needed.
