Most recently, the City received $1 million in the new State budget for an erosion control project at Lodi Lake Park thanks to the efforts of Assemblyman Jim Cooper. For the past decade, the City has applied for various grants, without success, in the hopes of keeping the Mokelumne River from continuing to shrink our most significant resource. The State money will help us protect our most endangered areas and ensure Lodi Lake Park will be there for future generations. Timetable for construction is pending.
