Lodi Police Department Makes It Easier for Community Members to File Simple Police Reports

The Lodi Police Department has implemented a new online reporting system, encouraging community members to file online reports. As police departments work to better allocate resources and personnel while proactively and positively working with the community, utilizing this online service will increase efficiencies within the department and enhance service to community members.

This service provides a fast and efficient way for community members to report a variety of incidents including custody order violations, fraudulent use of a credit card, harassing phone calls, identity theft, lost property, vehicle accidents, shoplifting, thefts, and vandalism.  Rather than visit the department in person or have an officer dispatched to you, community members can now report minor incidents online.

Please visit to access these services.

“Online community reporting allows officers to stay focused on the immediate needs of the community," said Chief Sierra Brucia. “The ability for community members to submit police reports online allows law enforcement agencies with limited resources to focus on public safety issues such as crime prevention and investigation.”
