This Saturday, June 19, Lodi Lake Beach will be closed to the public due to a lifeguard shortage. Lodi Lake Park and Headwaters Boathouse will remain open, and we encourage the public to enjoy the other park amenities available.
The beach will be open on Friday, June 18, and on Sunday (Father’s Day), June 20 from 12-2:45 pm and 3:15-6 pm. There is a $3 entrance fee for the beach and capacity is limited.
The Parks and Rec Department has offered multiple training for those interested in becoming a lifeguard and will offer more courses as needed. In order to open additional aquatics programs, the department needs to hire several more lifeguards. Please contact Parks and Rec if you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a lifeguard this summer.
