San Joaquin County has moved into the less-restrictive red tier of the state's color-coded COVID-19 reopening blueprint.
The red tier will allow some non-essential indoor business operations, such as movie theaters, gyms, museums, zoos, and indoor dining at restaurants, to be resumed with modifications. Fairs and amusement parks can also resume operations at limited capacity, while outdoor live events will also see increase an increase in maximum capacity. Bars that do not serve food must still remain closed.
The state also announced Tuesday that California is scheduled to be fully open by June 15.
