Lodi Electric Utility is expanding its current payment assistance program to low-income and fixed income customers through August 31, 2020.
During this COVID-19 pandemic recovery period, City Council and Lodi Electric Utility is expanding the existing Customer Assistance & Relief Energy (CARE) Package program to assist low income individuals and families pay electric bills. This program will provide income-qualified customers with up to two payments of $110 to pay electric bill within a six-month period of time. While documentation will still be required, many of the former program’s eligibility requirements have been lifted to make it easier to qualify.
CARE applications will be taken in person, by email, and by drop box at the following locations: The Salvation Army 525 Lockeford Street, Lodi, CA 95240 ( Monday-Friday) by appointment by calling 209-369-5896 and at the Community Partnership for Families at 118 N Church Street, Lodi, CA 95240 by appointment by calling 209-269-8262.
