[ARCHIVED] Registration Open for Summer Day Camp

Summer Camp

Lodi Kids Camp summer day camp program registration is now open (program begins June 1). The City’s popular summer camp program will offer childcare from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday for ages 4.5-15. As many parents are beginning to return to work, it is essential that the city begin accommodating the childcare needs of the community. Lodi Kids Camp will follow all appropriate operation protocols of the County Health Officer.

Where: Hutchins Street Square, Lakewood Elementary School and Lodi Lake Park

Age Range: 4.5-15 years

Capacity: Each camp has a set capacity to ensure social distancing and hygiene considerations

Dates: Session 1 - June 1-26

Session 2 - June 29-July 31

Time: 7am to 6pm

Fees: Session 1 - $575; Session 2 - $720

Kids Camp offers five exciting summer day camp programs for youth where campers will enjoy safe outdoor play, games, sports, nature and theater arts:

  • Summer Blast – variety of activities both indoors and outdoors
  • Sports Camp – fun outdoor sports, activities, water play, and art
  • Outdoor Adventure – water play, art, and nature walks
  • Drama Camp – dance, sing, and fun putting on a mini play
  • Counselor-in-Training – designed for young teens ages 13-15 to train alongside camp staff and assist in providing a quality camp experience


In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lodi Kids Camp staff will proactively follow guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for childcare programs:

  • All children will have their temperature taken upon arrival
  • Any child with a temperature of 100+ will be sent home
  • Do not send any child to the program if anyone in the household has a cough, runny nose, or temperature of 100+
  • Tables and chairs will be spaced 6-feet apart for social distancing
  • Staff will wear personal protective equipment
  • Staff will wash hands regularly and between caring for children
  • All snacks will be individually wrapped
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned after each use (toilet, sink, and handles)
  • Toys will be cleaned before and after each use
  • Group games will be played while adhering to the 6-feet of social distancing
  • Trash will be taken out 3x per day
  • All touchable surfaces will be cleaned before, during and after care
  • Staff will do a deep disinfecting clean at the end of each day

Children will receive proper hygiene instruction, including:

  • Proper hand washing
  • Disposing of tissues
  • Cough/Sneeze into elbow
