Summer Swim League
Summer Swim League has been canceled for Summer 2020
This recreational swimming program is designed to prepare you for competitive swimming. Swimmers will experience team bonding, a friendly social environment, and will have the opportunity to improve stroke mechanics and overall swim ability.
Swimmers must be between ages 5-18 years. Swimmers must be able to swim the full length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted in under 3 continuous minutes to qualify for Swim Team. The swimmer may rest on the wall for quick breaks, but the timer will resume.
Optional Swim Tryout:
Please stop by for a swim assessment if you are a new swimmer and want to be evaluated before joining the team.
Practices are held Monday thru Thursday evenings, times vary by team assignment.
Three (3) Dual Meets are scheduled Friday evenings throughout the season. The Brian M. Stocker Swim League Championship is held at the end of the season.
This program is designed to introduce children to competitive swimming. Children will refine their swimming stroke in a fun and enjoyable team setting. You MUST be a level 4 swimmer and be able to swim 25 yards without assistance. Children under the age of 6 will be tested the first two days of swim practice to ensure their ability. In addition, swimmers may be no older than 18 years of age as of June of the current swim season. Practices are held each night, Monday-Thursday, with dual meets on Friday evenings.
If you are a returning swimmer, you will be on the same team as the previous year. If you are a new swimmer, you will be assigned to a team.
