California Public Records Act (CPRA) Requests    

The procedure for public records requests falls under the California Public Records Act (CPRA). The City Clerk is the Official Custodian of Records for the City, coordinates Public Records Act Requests, and is responsible for maintaining all official City records in compliance with State, Federal, and Local regulations. Exception: Contact Lodi Police Department for Police reports and the Lodi Fire Department for Fire reports.

Online Access

Many public records are accessible by searching for records online. If you are unable to locate a document, please submit a records request.

Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Forms  

Copies of statements of economic interests filed by elected officers, employees, board and commissioners, and consultants, as well as copies of campaign statements for elected officials, candidates, and political action committees may be obtained by visiting the offices of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) or the City Clerk. The statements of economic interests for some state and local government agency elected officers may be available in electronic format via the FPPC.                       

Document Fee

Records requests are $0.10 per page for copies, plus postage if mailed. Records put onto electronic media and mailed are billed at the cost of the media and postage. Records may also be emailed or viewed in the office with prior arrangements.
