Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance
Notice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
In accordance with the requirements of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (
ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (
Section 504), the City of Lodi will neither discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities, nor exclude or deny individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to receive program benefits and services.
ADA/Section 504 Coordinator
The ADA/Section 504 Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the City of Lodi to comply with Title 2 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and investigating any concerns, complaints or requests regarding access to City programs, services or activities.
The City of Lodi will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the City of Lodi’s programs, services, and activities.
Public comments on issues related to the Americans with Disabilities Act/Section 504 are encouraged at a variety of City of Lodi board and commission meetings.
The City of Lodi provides opportunities for interested persons, including individuals with disabilities or organizations representing individuals with disabilities, to participate in the review and development of the Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan by submitting comments and making specific recommendations.
