Notice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
In accordance with the requirements of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA
) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504
), the City of Lodi will neither discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities, nor exclude or deny individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to receive program benefits and services.
ADA/Section 504 Coordinator
The ADA/Section 504 Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the City of Lodi to comply with Title 2 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and investigating any concerns, complaints or requests regarding access to City programs, services or activities.
Title III: Regarding Private Business
If you wish to file a complaint under Title III regarding a private business or public accommodation, you may file a complaint with the Federal Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice or with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH). If you have an issue related to the Fair Housing Act, you may file a complaint with the Federal Office of Housing and Urban Development Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO).
