Volunteers provide a valuable service and contribute greatly to the betterment of our community. We provide many volunteer opportunities for our residents to participate in. Below you'll find a variety of ways to give back to your community.

Lodi Parks People-01

Lodi Parks People 

Become a community member willing to assist with litter clean up and weeding in your neighborhood park. You'll be provided with safety training and equipment - a 5-gallon bucket, trash grabber, latex gloves, and trash bags. Training, orientation, and support on how to deal with problem areas will be provided, along with seven-days-a-week contact with park maintenance staff. Adopt-a-Park

Designed for individuals, groups, and organizations willing to make a high-level, long-term commitment to their favorite Adopt a Parkneighborhood park. Beyond picking up litter and pulling weeds, this program entails removing graffiti, sweeping courts and pathways, raking, reporting a park hazard, painting projects, and reporting monthly hours. Lodi Lake Nature Area Docents

DocentsThe docents lead school groups and others interested in the history, hydrologic features and the flora and fauna of the 58-acre Nature Area. Thousands of children tour the Nature Area each year. If you are interested in becoming a docent, please email Docent Coordinator at Taylor Yray

Usher Program at Hutchins Street Square

Hutchins UshersVolunteer ushers provide valuable customer service for events at the Charlene P. Lange Performing Arts Theater. Ushers ensure attendees find their proper seats, they will assist visitors with special needs and provide overall general direction. Volunteer CoachesAll volunteer coaches are required to be fingerprinted and processed through the Department of Justice. All information obtained is strictly confidential. Complete the Volunteer Interest Form and submit to Michael Darone.
