Message from the Chief
Thank you for visiting the Lodi Fire Department website. It is an honor and a privilege to serve the community of Lodi and our visitors as your Fire Chief. Please take time to browse through all of our website’s useful information and facts about the Department.
The Lodi Fire Department is an “all-risk” organization. By that I mean, Lodi Fire Department provides fire suppression operations (structural and wildland), emergency medical services, technical rescue operations, hazardous material mitigation, and water rescue operations. The City of Lodi is a diverse community that incorporates suburban residential properties, a beautiful historic downtown corridor, commercial and industrial properties, and many open spaces for recreation which includes Lodi Lake and the Mokelumne River.
Whether you are a resident of Lodi, employed here, or a visitor to our great city, the Lodi Fire Department is committed to your safety while you are here. The men and women of this Department are dedicated not only to emergency responses but also our fire prevention efforts as part of our community risk reduction strategy.
Our mission is “to provide life, property, and environmental protection through prevention, education, and mitigation services delivered with pride and integrity”. Our commitment to this community is to provide excellent first responder services every time our community needs us! We are extremely proud of our organization and welcome community engagement.
If I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you again for visiting and stay safe!
Ken Johnson
