Special Needs Citizen Registry
The Lodi Police Department is pleased to introduce the Special Needs Citizen Registry, a program designed to enhance the safety and well-being of individuals with special needs within our community. Our department recognizes the unique challenges faced by individuals with special needs and their families. By creating this registry, we aim to establish a comprehensive database that will enable us to better serve and protect these individuals during emergencies or other critical situations.
The Special Needs Citizen Registry is a voluntary program that allows individuals or their caregivers to provide essential information about their specific needs, such as medical conditions, communication preferences, and emergency contacts. This information will be securely stored in our database, accessible only to authorized personnel, ensuring the utmost privacy and confidentiality.
In the event of an emergency, our officers will have immediate access to this vital information, enabling them to respond effectively and with the necessary sensitivity. By understanding the unique needs and circumstances of individuals with special needs, we can tailor our response to ensure their safety and well-being.
We encourage all individuals with special needs, or their caregivers, to take advantage of this valuable program. By registering with the Special Needs Citizen Registry, you are taking an active step towards safeguarding yourself or your loved one in times of crisis.
To register, simply visit our website and complete our online form. We are here to assist you in any way possible and answer any questions you may have.
