Lost Item Refund

If you have found a book that was lost, and you have paid for, you can appeal to have a refund provided to you for the cost of the item.

Steps to apply for a refund

  • Bring your found book back into the Library.
  • Staff will verify that your account is valid and has the correct address on file.
  • Staff will fill out some paperwork and submit it for approval.
  • If/when approved a check for the reimbursed amount will be sent in the mail from the City of Lodi to the address on file.

Things to keep in mind

  • Items must be in serviceable condition for the patron to be eligible for a refund. If the item is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, it will not be valid for reimbursement.
