STABBING SUSPECT ARRESTED

On this date at approximately 5:00pm, members of the Lodi Police Department arrested Daniel Ambriz 22 for the January 19th stabbing of Robert Servin. He was arrested at his residence in the 1100 block of S. Hutchins St. after police executed a search warrant. Blood evidence was found in the residence and inside the suspect’s vehicle. Ambriz was booked for attempted murder, possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of sale, and possession of an illegal weapon.
The offense, although originally reported to have occurred in the 300 block of W. Kettleman Ln., actually occurred in the 1700 block of S. Church St. Investigators believe a fight occurred during a large party held at a residence in that area, which led to the stabbing. Investigators also believe there may have been many witnesses to the offense and are attempting to locate them.
