PARTNERS to Receive Award for Outstanding Achievement
The Lodi Police PARTNERS Volunteer Program has been selected to receive the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Award for Outstanding Achievement in Law Enforcement Volunteer Programs.
The IACP sponsors this annual award for law enforcement agencies that have developed and implemented creative and effective law enforcement volunteer programs. The goal is to recognize excellence in leadership through the implementation of an effective, high quality volunteer program that successfully integrates volunteers into the organization. The award recognizes agencies that most exemplify the goals, concepts and spirit of volunteerism in action.
Nominations were received from law enforcement agencies throughout the world and this year two agencies will be recognized for this prestigious award. The award will be presented at a reception in honor of this years’ winners during the IACP conference in Miami Beach, Florida on September 27th. Courtesy of the Association, one representative from the Lodi Police Department will be provided travel and accommodations to the Conference to receive the award. Chief Adams has designated Special Services Manager Jeanie Biskup, who coordinates the Partners Program to receive the award for LPD at the conference.
