Lodi Arts Commission and California Arts Council Present FREE Chamber Music Concert
Lodi, Calif (February 10, 2003) -- As part of its commitment to promoting and nurturing the visual arts in Lodi, the Arts Commission and the California Arts Council will present a free classical music concert at Hutchins Street Square.
WHO: The Chamber Music Society of Sacramento, featuring The Ariel Ensemble
WHEN: Sunday, February 23, 2003 at 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Theatre
The Ariel Ensemble musicians have gained recognition as individuals and as an ensemble both locally and nationally. The group recently received the highest award from Chamber Music America. They hold degrees from The Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, and Odessa State Conservatory, USSR. They have toured, recorded, and performed with the New York Philharmonic, the New York Chamber Orchestra, the Odessa Philharmonic, as well as local organizations including the Sacramento Symphony, the San Francisco Ballet, and the San Francisco Opera.
