Details:  This is a follow-up press release regarding the take over bank robbery that occurred on July 30, 2005 at approximately 9:43 a.m.  While the bank was open for business two male suspects armed with handguns, wearing baggie sweat clothing and knit style ski masks entered the bank and ordered all employees and customers to the ground. One of the suspects watched the bank lobby while the other suspect ran and jumped over the front counter. The same suspect ordered the bank manager to open the safe.  While the manager tried to open the safe the suspect hit her with the handgun several times. The bank manager suffered minor to moderate injuries to her upper torso and head.

Two customers walked into the bank while the robbery was going on. One customer was ordered to the ground. The other customer was grabbed by one of the suspects but managed to break free and ran out of the bank.  One of the bank employees was able to set off the alarm and left the bank through a rear door.  The suspects left the bank and the area in a black newer model Camaro which was reported stolen two months ago out of the bay area.  According to witnesses the suspects drove to a nearby apartment complex and abandoned the vehicle. A black female was seen waiting near a silver Dodge/Chrysler vehicle, in the area where the suspect vehicle was abandoned. The female and the silver vehicle were gone along with the suspects.  It is believed that the female was waiting for the suspects and all three fled in the silver vehicle.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. We are asking the public and financial institutions in the area to remain alert and report any suspicious persons or vehicles matching this description.
