An Evening With Jim Brickman

 

Lodi, Calif -- (June 20, 2003) – The Hutchins Street Square Box Office (209/333-5550) is pleased to offer tickets ($35 reserved seating) for “An Evening With Jim Brickman” at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Theater located at 125 South Hutchins Street Square, Lodi  California  95240.

 

Presented by the Hutchins Street Square Foundation, the evening will feature internationally renowned composer/pianist Jim Brickman in the intimate, 789 seat, Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Theater.

 

Since bursting into the arena of popular music with gold albums By Heart, Picture This, The Gift and Destiny, Mr. Brickman has appeared to be an overnight success. He made his solo album debut in 1994 with No Words, followed by the Gold-certified By Heart and the platinum The Gift and Picture This, which debuted at #1 on Billboard's New Age chart and went on to become one of the best-selling Windham Hill releases ever. The 1999 album Destiny sold over 500,000 copies, not only marking Jim's fourth Gold record, but putting him over the 5 million mark in career sales. Jim has received numerous accolades, including the Canadian Country Music Award for "Best Vocal/Instrumental Collaboration of the Year" with country star Michelle Wright for their recording, "Your Love." This followed the prestigious Dove Award (presented by the Gospel Music Association) for his hit, "The Gift." In addition, Jim was named Songwriter of the Year twice by performance rights organization, SESAC.

 

Mr. Brickman has also topped the charts with three #1 hits including “Valentine” with Martina McBride, “The Gift” with Collin Raye and Susan Ashton, and “Simple Things” with Rebecca Lynn Howard. His current single, “You,” with Jane Krakowski is currently climbing the charts.
