Keeping with tradition, the Hutchins Street Square Community Center will host the City’s annual Celebrate America! on the eve of Independence Day, Monday, July 3.  The event begins at 6 p.m. on the west lawn of Hutchins Street Square, corner of Oak and Rose Streets.  Admission is Free.

Everyone is invited to dress in red-white and blue, Bring a picnic dinner, a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the hometown spirit while listening to the Lodi Community Band and the Air Force Band of the West.  Soloist Adrienne Reynolds, will sing the “National Anthem” and “America the Beautiful”, and The Knights of Columbus will present the American flag.   There will be a children’s parade, face painting and a patriotic Tap routine by Lodi’s own “Steppin Out”  The Lodi Fire Department will unfurl a giant American Flag as Gary Don Ricks does his rendition of the “Raggedy Ol’ Flag”.   Call the Hutchins Street Square at 333-6782 for more information.
