FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where can I rent a picnic shelter?
The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services office at 230 W. Elm St. Picnic areas are available to rent at Lodi Lake, Emerson, Katzakian, Lawrence, Legion, Peterson, and Salas parks.

What are your hours of operation?
Offices are open Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm and are closed alternating Fridays. Please see the City calendar on the City’s website at www.lodi.gov to see which Friday’s the office is open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

What type of sports programs and classes do you offer?
We have many sports programs for youth and adults. We also offer a variety of          classes. Here is a brief list of what is offered. For a more comprehensive list, please see our current activity guide, “Play Lodi”.

How do I volunteer to coach?
Coaching applications are available at the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Administrative office. Coaches are needed for baseball, softball, basketball, tackle football, and all tot programs. All coaches must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Department of Justice.
