Patrol Services

The Patrol Services Division consists of all uniform patrol services.

In order to fully implement Community Oriented Policing Services in an effort to improve the quality of life for all of our citizens and to ensure they feel safe and secure, the city has been divided into three Patrol Districts encompassing five patrol beats.  Each patrol district has a commander, supervisors and a cadre of officers assigned to them.  Their goal is to better communicate with the citizens within their respective districts and work with them to solve neighborhood problems, focus on problematic call locations, and to prevent and reduce crime.

Patrol Services operates with four different work schedules: dayshift, overlap, swings, and graveyard.
