Records Unit
  Records Unit is open to the public during the following days and hours:  
  Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., open alternating Fridays, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. City closure schedule is available at www.lodi.gov



Records personnel will be glad to help you with the following services:



In order to help us better serve you, the Records Section requests that you bring in the following items when requesting a copy of your report:

  • Report number (if available)

  • Names of parties involved

  • Location of  occurrence                  

  • Date of occurrence



Records will issue bicycle licenses after receiving the necessary information regarding the bicycle and the owner.  The fee for a bicycle license is $5.00.  After expiration, the renewal stickers are $3.00.

We have Bicycle Identification forms located in Records for you to fill out the information needed before licensing each bicycle.  Or, for your convenience, you may print this form from our site.

Unless a vehicle was towed as a result of being a recovered stolen vehicle, a fee of $160.00 is charged to obtain a release for it.  Cash payment (exact change is always appreciated) or MasterCard/Visa are the only methods of payment accepted.  This is in addition to any towing and storage fees which will be owed to the company that towed the vehicle.
