Parks & Recreation Rentals

       

The Lodi Parks and Recreation Department offers reservations for group picnics, group camping, indoor building usage, and sport fields throughout the city.  Download our reservation brochure for more information or browse this page and use the above links.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the rental brochure and facilities listings.

Picnic Area Rentals
Lodi Lake Park - Five picnic areas are offered for reservation.

  • Youth Area: This area offers two large bbq's, seating for 200, counter with sink, electricity, horseshoe pits and amphitheater.  Reservations can be made for the whole area or just the picnic shelter.  Large groups are required to reserve the whole area.

  • Hughes Beach: This area offers a large bbq, seating for 50, electricity and horseshoe pits. Reservations can be made for the whole area or just the picnic shelter. Large groups are required to reserve the whole area.

  • Parson's Point: This area offers a large bbq, seating for 50 and electricity.  Reservations can be made for the whole area or just the picnic shelter.  Large groups are required to reserve the whole area.

  • Rotary Area: This area offers a large bbq, seating for 50,electricity (at pedestals), a horseshoe pit, and a small dog run area.

  • Kiwanis Area: This area offers two large bbq's,  seating for 70, and a counter with sink.  It is conveniently located near a restroom facility.  Reservations are for the whole area only.

City Parks - Six picnic areas are offered for reservation:

  • Emerson Park Lion's Den: This area offers a large bbq and seating for 60.

  • Katzakian Park Shelter: This area offers a large bbq and seating for 25.

  • Lawrence Park: This area offers a large bbq and seating for 90.

  • Legion Park Loewen's Den: This area offers a large bbq and seating for 35

  • Peterson Park Shelter: This area offers tables under a shelter. No bbq.

  • Salas Park: This area offers a large bbq and seating for 60.

Building Rentals

  • Kofu Park Building: This meeting room has a sink, under counter refrigerator, 3 electric burners,  three six-foot tables, and 30 chairs. No air conditioning at this facility.  Alcohol is not allowed in this facility.

  • Legion Park Building: This meeting room has a sink,  3 electric burners,  three six-foot tables, 30 chairs, and air conditioning.  Alcohol is not allowed in this facility.

Group Camping
  • Rotary Group Camping:  Group RV camping is available at this site for weekend use (Friday through Sunday).  Water and electricity are available for 24 rigs.  A dump station is located at the restroom facility.  There is a 12 rig minimum.

Sport Fields
Baseball and softball field rentals are available for practice, game, and tournament play.  For specific availability and rates, contact Michael Reese at 333-6800 ext. 2450.
