3rd - Art Hop

 

Join us for the Art Hop at the Lodi Public Library, on the first Friday of each month, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. This free event is an evening of viewing art and talking to artists, while being part of a fun, social event including the sampling of delicious hors d'oeuvres. Learn more.

9th - Be My Chocolate Valentine; a hands-on chocolate making class

Make some sweet chocolate treats for your  valentine in this hands-on, FREE! workshop. Rod Gray, a graduate from Art Institute of California is demonstrating how to make chocolate truffles. The teens are helping with  chocolate roses and tuxedo strawberries.  Class will begin at 6:00pm

20th - Book Club Special Event

 

Former Army Captain Luis Carlos Montalván and his service dog Tuesday will be visiting the Lodi Public Library.  Montalván sustained both physical and psychological injuries during 2 tours of duty in Iraq.  His book, Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him, takes readers into the world of a combat veteran heading towards oblivion and how a special dog brought him back.
