Latest Information

  • 11/05/07 - The Lodi Fire Engine to Southern California has returned safely. Watch the Lodi News Sentinel on Nov. 12 for more information contained in the "Behind the Badge" weekly article series.
  • 11/05/07 - On Saturday evening, November 5th, Fire Captain Michael Gold was struck by a vehicle while on duty. He is currently recovering at a local hospital. Please contact the City of Lodi Public Information Officer at 209-333-6801 or the local news media for more information.
  • 11/07/07 Captain Gold is recuperating with his family at home after some surgery.

 Fall Checklist:

Change the batteries in all of your smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors .

Clean your rain gutters to prevent overflowing during a storm.

Create or update your home emergency plan along with the needed supplies.

Check that your address numbers can be read from the street.

Check all fire exinguishers are in a good, serviceable, condition.

Have your chimney inspected and cleaned before using it.

Have the windshield wiper blades replaced.
