Grape Bowl Phase I improvements: Sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Officer, Lodi Finance Department,
310 West Elm Street, P.O. Box 3006, Lodi, California, 95241-1910, until 11 a. m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009. At that time, the proposals will be publicly opened and read in the Carnegie Forum Council Chambers, 305 West Pine Street, for performing the following described work.
The work consists of demolition of two restroom/concession stand buildings, one storage structure, removal and disposal of two arch framed backstops, chain link fencing, concrete flat work, concrete footings, wood pole light standards, backfill of footings, site grading, the construction of four building foundations (1,265 square feet each), the installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) seating and access, and other incidental and related work, all as shown on the plans and specification for the above project.
Please note that there will be a mandatory site visit at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at 221 Lawrence Street. All prime contractors interested in bidding on this project are required to attend.
Building Demolition, 17 East Elm Street: A mandatory site visit will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at 17 East Elm Street. All prime contractors interested in bidding on this project are required to be in attendance. There is no electric service to this building. Contractors will have to furnish their own flashlights. In addition, contractors will need to provide a ladder if they wish to access the basement area.

Bids for projects will be received at the Lodi Finance Department, 300 W. Pine St., Lodi, California, until 11 a.m. on the day noted, unless otherwise specified.
Plans and specifications for projects may be purchased at Lodi City Hall, 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, or may be
ordered for delivery by mail. "Price for Specs" refers to
the cost of plans and specifications purchased at City Hall (first amount),
