In 1988, the Lodi City Council, which consists of five members elected at-large by its voters, adopted Ordinance 1438 consolidating its municipal elections with Statewide general elections.  As a result, elections for members of the Council are held in November of even-numbered years.  The City of Lodi contracts its election services with the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters, (209) 468-2890, who prepares and furnishes to the City all materials, equipment, and services.

The 2018 General Municipal Election will be held on November 6, 2018.  This election will be held for the purpose of voting for the following offices of the City of Lodi: Three (3) Council Member seats (four-year terms).  The Council Members, whose terms are due to expire, are Mark Chandler, Doug Kuehne, and Alan Nakanishi.

Anyone interested in obtaining information about running as a candidate for Council Member in an upcoming election may view Information for Potential Candidates or contact the City Clerk, (209) 333-6702.

e-Records:  Please note that when searching for data regarding Council Members or candidates on the City's electronic records management system there may be information under multiple categories (e.g. campaign filings, conflict of interest, etc.).
