In 1988, the Lodi City Council, which consists of five members elected at-large by its voters, adopted Ordinance 1438 consolidating its municipal elections with Statewide general elections. As a result, elections for members of the Council are held in November of even-numbered years. The City of Lodi contracts its election services with the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters,
(209) 468-2890, who prepares and furnishes to the City all materials, equipment, and services.
The 2012 General Municipal Election will be held on November 6, 2012. This election will be held for the purpose of voting for the following offices of the City of Lodi: Two (2) Council Member seats (four-year terms). The Council Members, whose terms are due to expire, are Bob Johnson and JoAnne Mounce. Click here for 2012 Candidate Information.
