Plans are underway by developers Browman Development Company to construct a 300,000 square foot shopping center at the southwest corner of Kettleman Lane (Highway 12) and Lower Sacramento Road. While plans have yet to be submitted to the Lodi Planning Commission, discussed proposals include a 200,000 square foot Wal-Mart Superstore to replace Lodi's current Wal-Mart store, along with eight smaller retail buildings.
