In reality, the center strives to offer something for everyone in the
community, thus the phrase "from crib to casket" was coined. In
addition, to the performing arts theater, Hutchins Street Square
offers first class conferencing facilities, senior and child day care
centers, arts production studios, a therapeutic indoor heated pool and
a variety of venues for special occasions. The Square has been host to
weddings, jazz concerts, art shows, outdoor plays, community festivals
and holiday celebrations, to name a few.
