LOCATION
The City of Lodi is centrally located in northern
California with easy access to U.S. western states.
As the northern-most city in the San Joaquin County, Lodi bridges the areas of Northern and Central California which places it in the path of a dynamic growth corridor ideally situated for business and industry.

Where Are We?
The City of Lodi is located 90 east of San Francisco, 35 miles south of the State's capital, Sacramento, adjacent to Highway 99 and is easily accessible to Interstate I-205.

Are We accessible?
Lodi, like all of San Joaquin County, has excellent transportation accessibility. It sits between two primary north-south highways, Hwy 99 and Interstate 5, that respectively connect major cities in San Joaquin County and provide access to major markets from Canada to Mexico. It is well connected for east-west transportation with Interstate 580 running to Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area. Interstate 80 links Lodi to Reno, Nevada and points further east. Lodi's ground transportation includes 24 carriers and other local trucking firms serving the Lodi area.

What About Rail Service?
Lodi is served by two national rail lines, Union Pacific Railroad and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe. It is also served by a local railroad, Central California Traction that runs contiguous to its industrial park areas. Daily passenger service via Amtrak is available from Lodi to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento and points in between.

What About Water and Air Transportation?
The Stockton Deepwater Ship Channel is located 14 miles south at Interstate 5 and Weber Avenue in the City of Stockton. The Port of Stockton, California, owns and operates a diversified and major transportation facility encompassing 600 acres of operating area and providing berthing space for 10 vessels, dockside transit sheds and ship side rail trackage, and 2.5 million square feet of warehouse space.

Lodi is within 45 minutes of the Sacramento International Airport and 11/4 hours of Oakland International. The San Francisco International Airport is also within convenient driving distance. Corporate and general aviation aircraft are served at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport and at the adjacent A.G. Spanos Jet Center just an easy 20-minute drive from Lodi. Limited general aviation service is provided by America West with three scheduled flights per day to their Phoenix, Arizona hub, which provides connections nationally.
