LOCATION
The City of Lodi is centrally located in
northern
California with easy access to U.S. western states.
As the northern-most city in the San Joaquin County, Lodi bridges the
areas of Northern and Central California which places it in the path of
a dynamic growth corridor ideally situated for business and industry.

Are We?
The City of Lodi is located 90
east of San Francisco, 35 miles south of the State's capital,
Sacramento, adjacent to Highway 99 and is easily accessible to
Interstate I-205.

We accessible?
Lodi, like all of San Joaquin
County, has excellent transportation accessibility. It sits between two
primary north-south highways, Hwy 99 and Interstate 5, that respectively
connect major cities in San Joaquin County and provide access to major
markets from Canada to Mexico. It is well connected for east-west
transportation with Interstate 580 running to Oakland and the San
Francisco Bay Area. Interstate 80 links Lodi to Reno, Nevada and points
further east. Lodi's ground transportation includes 24 carriers and
other local trucking firms serving the Lodi area.
What About Rail Service?
Lodi is served by two national rail
lines, Union Pacific Railroad and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe. It
is also served by a local railroad, Central California Traction that
runs contiguous to its industrial park areas. Daily passenger service
via Amtrak is available from Lodi to San Francisco, Los Angeles,
Sacramento and points in between.

About Water and Air Transportation?
The Stockton Deepwater Ship
Channel is located 14 miles south at Interstate 5 and Weber Avenue in
the City of Stockton. The Port of Stockton, California, owns and
operates a diversified and major transportation facility encompassing
600 acres of operating area and providing berthing space for 10 vessels,
dockside transit sheds and ship side rail trackage, and 2.5 million
square feet of warehouse space.
Lodi is within 45 minutes of the Sacramento
International Airport and 11/4 hours of Oakland International. The San
Francisco International Airport is also within convenient driving
distance. Corporate and general aviation aircraft are served at the
Stockton Metropolitan Airport and at the adjacent A.G. Spanos Jet Center
just an easy 20-minute drive from Lodi. Limited general aviation service
is provided by America West with three scheduled flights per day to
their Phoenix, Arizona hub, which provides connections nationally.
