Lodi is financially and geographically well positioned to take advantage of the recovering economy. Projects currently under development include the Reynolds Ranch mixed-use project, Sunwest Village retail center and Rose Gate, a new master-planned single-family housing project. Even more projects are in the planning stages. Available space is competitively priced and there are immediate opportunities for commercial and industrial infill development, as well as vacant land. Additionally, the City's adopted 2010 General Plan identifies approximately 1,000 acres southeast of existing City limits for future expansion; designated as commercial, business park and industrial.
